AURORA is a cluster of alabaster globes suspended at varied heights from a warm brass ceiling canopy. Each shade is cut from natural stone, so the veining differs from globe to globe and the whole fitting lights unevenly in the way real material does rather than the uniform way glass does. No two chandeliers leave the workshop identical.
The rounded cluster form is what makes it work over a table. Light comes from several points at different heights rather than one bright source, which fills the space beneath it without casting the hard shadows a single pendant throws across faces at dinner. Brass gives the canopy warmth and keeps the stone from reading cold or clinical against a white ceiling.
It suits dining tables, open living rooms, entryways and lounge areas with the ceiling height to carry it. Six size configurations run from a modest cluster to a substantial centrepiece, so it can be specified for a normal room or a double-height hall without compromise. Hardwired installation by a qualified electrician is required; confirm ceiling fixing and weight loading before ordering, as stone shades are considerably heavier than glass.
