MIST forms a rounded silhouette from natural alabaster pieces arranged vertically around the body. Because each piece is cut separately, the variations in veining, tone and translucency sit side by side rather than blending into an average, which gives the surface an organic character that a moulded shade cannot imitate at any price.

Small metal accents define the circular frame at the top and bottom edges. They are sized to hold the composition together without becoming a feature themselves, so the stone remains what you see when you look up. Lit, the vertical arrangement makes the light appear to rise and fall around the circumference rather than sitting flat across a single plane.

The rounded form drops only slightly from the ceiling, so it works in rooms without the height for a pendant while still having presence rather than disappearing into the plaster. Two sizes are available for bedrooms and larger living or dining spaces. Hardwired fitting: installation by a qualified electrician is required, with ceiling fixings rated for the assembled stone weight.
