LINEN is a round alabaster shade with visible veining and a geometric metal accent set along its lower edge. The accent is small and sits where it will be seen from below, giving the circle a base and stopping it reading as a floating disc stuck to the wall with nothing holding it in place.
When lit, the alabaster diffuses softly and reveals subtle tonal variation across its surface - the pattern that natural stone provides for free and that no printed or moulded shade convincingly copies.
