PRISM sets multiple square alabaster shades at varied positions within a structured metal frame. The cubes sit at different depths rather than on one plane, so the fitting has genuine three-dimensional structure and casts light at several levels instead of washing the ceiling evenly and flatly the way a single panel would.
Each stone piece diffuses its light softly and shows its own natural variation, which means the cubes do not match - and that is the point rather than a fault. The frame holds them in an ordered grid while the material inside stays irregular, and the tension between the two, the geometry against the stone, is what gives the fitting its character.
The layered construction gives it depth without a long drop, so it suits rooms where a chandelier would be impractical but a plain flush light would be dull: a landing, a hallway with height, a modern dining space with a standard ceiling.
