GOODNEST SPRING | Sensor-Activated Pet Fountain
SPRING is a pet fountain with three water modes, the default being motion sensing: when a pet or person moves within a 120-degree arc up to about 1.2 metres in front of it, the fountain dispenses. Between visits it sits still and silent rather than circulating water all day and all night.
That matters for two reasons. A pump running constantly is a noise in the room and a steady draw on the mains, and standing water that has been aerated for hours goes flat. Water delivered on approach is fresher and moving, which is what draws cats in particular to drink - many will pass a full still bowl and then drink from a running tap instead.
The other two modes cover pets that are wary of the sensor or households that prefer continuous flow. Three colour options are available. Clean the reservoir, pump and filter on the stated schedule - a fountain that is not cleaned is worse than a bowl - and top up the water before it drops below the pump minimum.
