PIER is the contemporary option in the post-light range: squared lines, a restrained profile and none of the coach-lamp detailing that dates a modern house within a few years. It is designed for driveway piers, gateposts and boundary walls where the architecture is clean and the lighting should agree with it rather than argue with it after dark.
Because it runs on solar there is no cabling decision to make. The panel charges through daylight hours and the light comes on at dusk under its own control, which means it works equally well at the far end of a drive as it does beside the front door. Warm output is thrown down and around the post to define the entrance and the ground underfoot rather than lighting the whole garden.
Nine size and finish combinations cover everything from a slim wall cap to a substantial pier top, so a run of posts can be matched properly rather than approximated. Fix to a flat surface with the supplied fittings, keep the panel clear of overhanging planting, and clean the glass a few times a year to protect charging performance. Runtime shortens in midwinter, when daylight hours are fewest.
