Clear acrylic hammock, they appear to float
Fifty nine inches with sisal posts
Watch them sleep from underneath
Pickup currently not available
Description
The acrylic hammock is the thing people buy this for. A cat lies in a clear sling and appears to float; you get to watch a cat sleep from underneath, which is a small daily pleasure that is difficult to explain to anyone until they have it in their own living room.
It is not only novelty. A transparent perch gives a cat an unobstructed view down into the room, which is exactly the surveillance position cats seek out on top of wardrobes and bookshelves - and it means the perch does not visually block a room the way a solid platform at head height does when you walk past it.
Fifty-nine inches of modern structure carries it, with scratching surfaces and climbing levels below. Assembly is required. Secure the tower to the wall with the supplied anti-tip fixing, observe the stated weight limit for the acrylic hammock, inspect it periodically for cracks or crazing, and replace it if any damage appears.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the acrylic hammock safe?
It is a rigid acrylic panel mounted into the frame and rated to hold a full grown cat. It flexes far less than fabric, which is what makes cats trust it.
How tall is the tower?
59 inches, with a top perch above the hammock and a condo lower down, so there is a full route to climb rather than one feature.
Do cats actually use the hammock?
Most take to it quickly. The clear panel gives them a downward view of the room that no solid perch offers, which is exactly what a cat wants.
What are the posts covered in?
Sisal, run tall enough for an adult cat to scratch at full stretch, which is what pulls them off your furniture and onto the tower.
What size cats does it suit?
Small through to large adult cats. Check the stated hammock and perch capacity on this page if you have a particularly heavy cat.
