HALLOW is a ring chandelier built from alabaster, arranged so the lit stone forms complete circles rather than a frame carrying separate shades. The result is a continuous band of light at each level, which is a very different effect from a ring of individual bulbs and a far calmer one to sit beneath.
Because the light comes from the whole perimeter, it falls evenly into the space below rather than in pools, and the open centres keep the fitting from reading as a solid mass overhead in a room where it will be seen from below all evening. Natural veining shows across each ring and shifts as the stone changes, so the circles are related but never identical.
This is a statement fitting for a room with height and scale to carry it - a foyer, a stairwell, a large dining room or an open-plan living space.
