A dog house that survives a winter and a chewer. The roof is waterproof asphalt on a slant so rain runs off instead of pooling and soaking through, and the whole right-hand side lifts open - which is how you clean the inside without crawling in after your dog on your hands and knees.
The floor sits two inches off the ground on raised feet with extra support beneath, so damp never comes up through the base. That detail is the difference between a dog house that lasts and one that rots from the bottom in its second season. Inside there is 7.36 square feet, enough for one large dog or two smaller ones, and the frame is reinforced with anti-chew rods along the edges a bored dog goes for first.
A side window with a roll-up waterproof cover handles airflow in summer, and a PVC door curtain keeps rain out while letting the dog in. A free personalised door nameplate is included.
