Description
LINEN is a round alabaster shade with visible veining and a geometric metal accent set along its lower edge. The accent is small and sits where it will be seen from below, giving the circle a base and stopping it reading as a floating disc stuck to the wall with nothing holding it in place.
When lit, the alabaster diffuses softly and reveals subtle tonal variation across its surface - the pattern that natural stone provides for free and that no printed or moulded shade convincingly copies. Output is gentle rather than bright, which is what makes it a fitting for atmosphere rather than task lighting; pair it with something stronger if you need to read.
The simple circular form is easy to place. It works singly in a small hallway, in pairs flanking a bed or mirror, or in a repeated run along a corridor where a more assertive design would become tiring by the third one. This is a hardwired fitting: installation by a qualified electrician is required, with the backplate fixed into a solid substrate.

It Needs A Base
A small geometric metal accent sits along the lower edge, where it will be seen from below. It gives the circle a base and stops it reading as a disc floating on the wall.
The Pattern Of Stone
Lit, the alabaster diffuses softly and reveals subtle tonal variation across the surface. That pattern is the thing natural stone gives you and a printed shade never can.
Quiet On The Wall
A round shade and one small detail, nothing more. GOODNEST made LINEN to add warmth to a hallway or a bedside wall without pulling focus in the daytime.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the metal accent for?
It sits along the lower edge where you see it from below, giving the round shade a visual base so it does not read as a disc stuck flat to the wall.
What is the shade made from?
Natural alabaster with visible veining. Each shade carries its own tone and pattern, so the light your wall gets is genuinely one of a kind.
Is the light harsh?
No. The stone diffuses the source completely, so LINEN gives a soft even glow with no glare and no bright spot to catch your eye at night.
Where does it work best?
Hallways, stair walls, beside a bed or in a pair down a corridor. The shallow round form suits anywhere you want warmth on a wall without losing space.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the stone face gently with a soft dry cloth and lift dust off the metal accent the same way. No polish and no cleaning products are needed.
