ORB is a full sphere assembled from individually shaped alabaster sections rather than turned from a single block. The panel layout stays visible, giving the surface a subtle architectural rhythm and a set of seams that catch light differently from the faces between them - construction shown rather than concealed behind a smooth finish.
A sphere distributes visual weight evenly from every angle, which is what makes this fitting easy to place. There is no front and no back, so it works hung alone in the middle of a room, in a stairwell where it is seen from above and below, or in a row where each one presents identically. Lit, the variation between adjoining stone pieces becomes more noticeable and gives the globe depth without any applied ornament.
Two sizes are available for different ceiling heights and room scales, and the larger reads well in a double-height space. It suits entrance halls, dining spaces, stairwells and bedrooms equally well.
