PLUME is a fluffy sofa bed sized generously enough that a large dog can actually stretch out. Most beds are sized to how a pet looks curled up in a shop photograph rather than how they sleep at three in the morning, which is flat out and diagonal and taking up twice the space.
The base is thickened and raised rather than a thin mat on the floor, so the animal is lifted off cold flooring and draughts, and the filling holds shape under weight instead of compressing to nothing within a few weeks. That support matters most for heavier dogs and for older animals whose joints feel a hard floor through a thin bed.
The plush surface suits pets that nest and knead before settling, and it works equally well for cats. Six size and colour options are available, from a smaller bed up to extra-large.
