SATCHEL is a pet backpack that can be worn on the front or the back, and the choice matters more than it sounds. Back carry frees your arms and shifts weight onto your shoulders for distance; front carry keeps the animal enclosed against you and in sight, which is what a nervous pet needs in a busy place.
The front position works much like a baby carrier - the pet stays snug, secure and able to see your face, which settles most animals far faster than being behind you where they can hear a crowd but not find you. For a cat or an anxious small dog, that is often the difference between an outing that works and one that has to be abandoned.
It suits travel, vet trips, hikes and any journey where a carrier held in the hand becomes tiring within ten minutes. Seven colour options are available.
