Stow Foldable Tree Storage Bag
Stow Foldable Tree Storage Bag
STOW is a Christmas tree storage bag in 210D Oxford fabric, measuring 122 x 51 x 38cm - a little over four feet long. That is sized for a disassembled artificial tree with its sections laid together rather than forced in and zipped over, which is what stops branches bending permanently out of shape by next December.
Oxford fabric is the right material for a bag that spends eleven months in a loft or garage. It resists tearing at the seams under the weight of a full tree being dragged up a ladder, sheds dust rather than absorbing it, and does not go brittle in an unheated space the way thin polythene does after a single cold winter.
It folds flat when empty, so it is not itself something you have to store. Three colours: red, green and black. Allow 1-2cm variation on measurements, and note that screen colours may differ slightly from the item. Store the bag somewhere dry, ensure the tree is fully dry before packing, and do not stack heavy items on top of a packed bag.
