TERRACE is built from overlapping vertical alabaster panels set at different heights and depths, so the shade steps outward and back as it goes round. The name is apt: the profile reads as terraced levels rather than a single continuous surface, and light escapes through the gaps between panels as well as through the stone itself.
Rounded edges soften what could easily have become a hard, angular silhouette, and small brass-tone fasteners give subtle definition across the pale stone. Those fasteners are structural and visible on purpose - they mark where one panel meets the next and keep the layering legible when the light is off and the fitting is read as an object rather than a source.
It is a pendant with a lot of visual interest for its size, which makes it useful in a small space that needs one good thing rather than several: a compact dining area, a hall, a landing, or hung low beside a bed. Hardwired pendant: professional electrical installation is required, with drop height set for the room.
Free shipping on every order. If it is not right for your space, return it within 30 days for a full refund.

Vertical alabaster panels sit at different heights and depths, so the shade steps outward and back as it goes round. The profile reads as terraced levels, not one continuous surface.
Light escapes between the panels as well as through the stone itself. You get both a warm glow across the faces and fine bright lines where the layers overlap.
Rounded edges keep a stepped shape from turning hard and angular. GOODNEST wanted the layering to read as depth rather than as something cut with a blade.

From overlapping vertical alabaster panels set at different heights and depths, so the surface steps outward and back the whole way round rather than sitting flush.
Yes, and that is part of the design. Light escapes between the panels as well as through the stone, giving fine bright lines alongside the broad warm glow.
Soft. Every panel edge is rounded, so the terraced form reads as layered depth instead of the hard angular shape this construction could easily have become.
Natural alabaster throughout. Each panel has its own veining, so the terraced faces light at slightly different tones and the whole shade gains real depth.
Over a dining table, an island or an entry, at a height where the stepped profile can be seen from the side. TERRACE rewards being looked at from below and across.
