The divider is the useful part. In place, two dogs get separate compartments and stop arguing over space; removed, the whole 87 inches becomes one run for a large breed or for two dogs that genuinely prefer to sleep together. That means the crate adapts as a household changes rather than being replaced when it does.

Black steel takes the wear where dogs make contact, and the timber top gives a genuine usable surface rather than a decorative lid that nothing can be put on. Assembly is required.
