BLOOM is a mushroom lamp shaped entirely from translucent alabaster - shade and base both. That is what separates it from the many mushroom lamps with a stone-look shade on a metal stem: the whole object is one material, and the light travels through all of it rather than only the top section.
Natural veining gives each surface its own subtle variation, and the broad upper form distributes a gentle glow across the stone rather than concentrating it in one bright spot.
