Description
FACET sets a cube of alabaster on a crossed black metal base, and the geometry is the whole argument. Flat faces show the stone's veining as continuous planes rather than curving away from view, so the material is legible from across a room in a way a globe never quite manages however good the stone underneath happens to be.
The crossed base lifts the shade clear of the surface, which lets light escape underneath as well as through the stone and keeps the lamp from sitting heavily on a console. Warm diffused output comes through all four faces evenly, so there is no bright side and dark side. Compact enough for a nightstand, distinctive enough that it does not need a companion piece to justify itself.
It fits easily on nightstands, consoles, side tables and desks, and it holds up in modern, transitional and eclectic rooms alike - the geometry is neutral enough to sit with most furniture rather than demanding a particular style around it. Four finish options are available. Plug-in lamp: route the cable clear of walkways and use a bulb within the rated wattage.

Flat Faces Show The Veining
A cube presents the stone as continuous planes instead of curving it out of view. You see far more of the material than a globe ever shows.
Geometry On A Crossed Base
The crossed black metal base keeps the cube lifted and steady. Simple engineering that lets the geometry do the talking.
Reads Clearly Across A Room
FACET is legible from the far side of a room, lit or unlit. GoodNest chose the cube for exactly that reason.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does a cube lamp suit best?
A console, a sideboard, a desk or a shelf where its straight edges can line up with the furniture around it.
Is the cube solid alabaster?
It is natural alabaster, cut so light passes through the stone. The veining runs across each face differently.
How much light does it give?
A warm, even glow from all four faces. It lifts a dark corner rather than lighting a whole room.
Is the base stable?
Yes. The crossed metal foot spreads the weight wide and low, so the lamp sits firmly on any flat surface.
How do I clean it?
Dry soft cloth across the faces and the base. No sprays, no solvents.
