Description
GROVE 6 is a six-panel timber playpen with 360-degree two-way hinges. Each panel rotates freely against its neighbour, so the pen becomes a closed rectangle, a U against a wall, or a single flat run depending on the shape of the room rather than the shape the manufacturer had in mind.
Two-way hinges are what make that possible. A pen with one-directional hinges can only fold one way, which limits it to a handful of layouts; free rotation means the panels bend around a fireplace, into an alcove, or into a ring around a Christmas tree during the weeks when a tree needs protecting from a puppy or a kitten.
When it is not in use the panels fold flat against each other for compact storage rather than needing dismantling and rebuilding. Six size and configuration options are available. Supervise pets around a decorated tree regardless of a barrier, ensure the pen is stable and cannot be tipped before leaving a pet with it, and check hinges periodically.
