Halo Alabaster Pendant Light

HALO takes a plain vertical pendant and gives it texture by building the shade from a series of evenly spaced alabaster rings. The repetition creates a measured rhythm from top to bottom, and the small gaps between rings catch light differently from the stone faces, so the surface changes as you move around it rather than presenting one fixed view.

Lit, the effect is more interesting than a smooth shade allows. Each curved edge picks up its own highlight while the ring faces glow softly, and the natural variation in the stone means no two contours read identically. Unlit, the stacked form still holds its shape as a sculptural object rather than going flat the way a plain drum does in daylight.

The construction stays slender, so it suits narrow positions - a stairwell, a hall, beside a bed, or a run above a kitchen island where a wide shade would crowd the space and block sightlines.
