Hearth Knit Christmas Tree Collar

HEARTH uses a classic cable knit pattern, which is the texture most associated with winter interiors - the same stitch as a heavy jumper or a throw over the arm of a sofa. Around the base of a tree it creates a cosy, rustic finish and gives the eye somewhere to land below the decorations rather than a bare floor.

The fit is adjustable rather than fixed, so it closes to whatever diameter your stand actually is. That flexibility is what makes a collar universal: tree stands vary widely in width between makes, and a rigid ring that is slightly too small is unusable while one that is too large sits open at the back where everyone can see it.

Two size options are available. It works as an elegant centrepiece for the base of the tree, hiding the stand and the tangle of cable that always gathers there. Position it around the assembled stand before decorating, keep it clear of the light transformer and any heat source, and store it dry between seasons.
