PERCH is a pet sofa rather than a pet bed, and the difference is the L-shaped backrest. It gives a dog or cat something to lean against on two sides while leaving the front open, so they can stretch right out rather than being forced into a curl by a rim running all the way round the edge.
The cushion mattress and pillow are plush linter fabric, smooth and soft against a coat. The cover zips off for washing and carries a waterproof layer beneath, which is the part that saves the furniture underneath from muddy paws, drool and the occasional accident - and the reason the sofa survives an animal that sleeps on it every night for years.

How is this different from a normal round pet bed?
A round bed has a rim all the way around, which pushes a pet into a curl. PERCH uses an L shaped backrest with an open front, so they can lean on two sides and still stretch right out.
Is it for dogs or cats?
