Description
PERCH is a pet sofa rather than a pet bed, and the difference is the L-shaped backrest. It gives a dog or cat something to lean against on two sides while leaving the front open, so they can stretch right out rather than being forced into a curl by a rim running all the way round the edge.
The cushion mattress and pillow are plush linter fabric, smooth and soft against a coat. The cover zips off for washing and carries a waterproof layer beneath, which is the part that saves the furniture underneath from muddy paws, drool and the occasional accident - and the reason the sofa survives an animal that sleeps on it every night for years.
Available in small and medium. Measure your pet lying stretched out and choose the size that lets them do that comfortably rather than the one that matches their breed name, which is usually optimistic. Place it away from radiators and direct heat sources, wash the cover per its care label, and check the seams and zip occasionally on a pet that chews.

How is this different from a normal round pet bed?
A round bed has a rim all the way around, which pushes a pet into a curl. PERCH uses an L shaped backrest with an open front, so they can lean on two sides and still stretch right out.
Is it for dogs or cats?
Both. Cats take to the raised frame and the corner to tuck into, and dogs use the open front to lie out flat. It works as a lounge for either.
Can the cover be washed?
Yes. The cushion cover zips off so it can go in the wash and back on again, which is what keeps a plush pet sofa looking good past the first month.
Why is it raised on legs?
