TRAIL is the straightforward solar path light: a stake, a panel and an LED head that runs from dusk until the battery gives out. It exists to make a walkway safe to use after dark without an electrician, a trench, or a decision about where the nearest outdoor socket is and how to get power across a lawn to it.
The heads are angled to put light down onto the path surface rather than out at eye level, so a run of them guides you along a route instead of glaring at anyone approaching. That makes them equally suited to a garden path, a patio edge, a lawn border or the side of a driveway, and it keeps light out of ground-floor windows on a summer evening.
Installation is a stake pushed into soft ground - no tools, no fixings, and easy to move as a garden changes through the season.
